Mahjong Stuff in Pon no Michi, Episode 3 - You Probably Shouldn't Just Eat Curry On The Table Like That
Though there isn’t a ton of mahjong in this episode, I managed to squeeze quite a bit out. This is actually the episode where I decided to write this series, as the subs were finding such new and exciting ways to blow it on terminology.
Mahjong takes a back seat as the girls spend the entire episode preparing dinner. Get used to episodes like this, as “the girls do a thing” is arguably more what this show is actually about. A big part of this post— the genroku stacking— is actually explained in the episode, so that might even feel redundant! Even so, I shall press on and try to provide the detail the series doesn't have the time for.
